24 Hours of Reality

It’s 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time in the U.S., and there are 9 hours left of a livestream worldwide broadcast on climate change.  The presentation/slideshow is the same, but a different presenter in each time zone around the globe covers it, and the panel discussions in between are very interesting, and it’s a different panel almost every time, so there are a lot of opinions to listen to.  You can also go back and listen to any of the previous hourlong presentations and panel discussions based on language or location of presentation, even after the marathon session is over.  I thought Peter Schiefke of  the University of Victoria (British Columbia) did a magnificent job.  Check it all out at http://climaterealityproject.org/.  You can even log in and submit comments in a sort of chat room, but the stream goes by so fast, I found it not worth the trouble.  Al Gore is going to deliver the final closing statements.
