Bad and Possibly Good News for Frogs

I just read a couple of articles on the Pacific chorus frog, which is a carrier of the deadly chytrid fungus but doesn’t suffer from it itself. It’s spreading the fungus to endangered frog species in the Sierra Nevada. The first article has the bad news:
